The Saraswati P.G. College was established in 2003. The college represents the ideal combination of modern and traditional values, spreading the light of knowledge and preparing the youth for the future, thus contributing towards the task of nation-building. It is situated at Buhana – a remote area of eastern Rajasthan, about 170 km. from New Delhi and 60 km. from its district headquarters in Jhunjhunu. The college is spread over 4 acres of land in lush green environment. Continual, persuasive and sustained efforts have yielded results and the student strength has risen from 200 to 4000 in the past decade.

Saraswati P.G. College was established by the Society for providing education in remote and backward area of the state, with the objective of empowering the rural area. The college imparts human values as it believes in “Man-Making” & “Nation -Building” education.

The college is affiliated to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Shekhawati University, formerly Shekhawati University, is a state university situated in the village Katrathal, in Sikar district, 15 kilometres from Sikar, in Rajasthan, India. The university caters the study needs of the students from the Shekhawati region. The College follows the curricula prescribed by the University for U.G./P.G. classes. It is guided by the academic calendar set annually by the University.
